Landlords can get information and assistance with Human Resources Administration (HRA) rental assistance programs, including CityFHEPS and FHEPS.

Landlords, owners, and brokers who would like to participate in the City’s rental assistance programs can get information and assistance.

You can find out about registering apartments, lease-signing bonuses, and the rental process, including the apartment walk-through.

Contact the Home Support Unit.

The Home Support Unit (HSU) will contact you within 48 hours of submitting the online form. If you do not get a call after 48 hours, check your email for a response from HSU with a specialist's direct number.

You can inquire about the status of a CityFHEPS or FHEPS rental assistance payment from the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA), as well as general payment details.

Tenant Portion

Tenants who have missed paying you their portion of the rent can apply for a One Shot Deal at any HRA Benefits Access Center.

You can get seek assistance issues you are having with your rental assistance tenants who are participants in the CityFHEPS or FHEPS programs. A landlord can refer a tenant to homebase services if there are concerns with tenant behavior, challenges with tenant portion of the rent or other rights/responsibility concerns. Homebase services are voluntary.

You can contact the Homebase office that serves the zip code of the tenant being referred for services. Offices have regular weekly business hours, each location may have specific daily schedule.
