The Department of Transportation (DOT) administers the Street Light Banner Program which allows approved banners to be installed on street lights citywide.
You can apply for a Street Light Banner permit to promote public events, cultural exhibits, civic initiatives, or neighborhood identity. Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and Local Development Corporations (LDCs) may also install banners to promote and brand their districts.
