To be eligible for a standard parking ticket payment plan, you must:
- Be the registered owner of the vehicle, the owner's court-appointed agent or the lessee of a vehicle who has been designated as liable for judgment summonses by the vehicle's lessor.
- Agree to include all open parking ticket judgments not already covered by an active payment plan.
- Pay 20% or more of the total amount due at the time you enter into the agreement.
- Agree to a payment plan length of 24 months or fewer. (If the total amount in judgment is less than $350, the payment plan length is 60-Days.)
- Agree to pay the balance owed on all open judgment violations. If you wish to dispute any tickets in a hearing, you must do so before the payment plan begins.
- Pay all outstanding booting, towing, and related fees in full if your car has been booted or towed.
- If your vehicle has been booted or towed, you must provide proof that your vehicle is currently registered and insured in order for the vehicle to be released.
How to Apply if your Vehicle Has Been Booted or Towed
If your vehicle has been booted or towed, you can enroll in a standard parking ticket payment plan with Republic Immobilization Services. You will be required to pay 20% of your judgment debt plus all booting, towing, and related fees in full. Your license, registration, and insurance must be up to date.

The easiest way to apply is online at www.nycbootpay.com. Simply enter your case or license plate number, and when your debt appears, there will be a link offering a payment plan.

How to Apply if your Vehicle Has Not Been Booted or Towed
If you have judgment debt of $350 or more, you can enroll in a standard parking ticket payment plan with DOF.
The easiest way to apply is online at e-Services.
You will need to register for an account with a:
- Letter ID, or
- Payment plan ID, or
- Collection case ID
If you do not have any of these, you can request a letter ID by providing a copy of your driver's license and registration for the license plate in question.
Please go to e-Service and click "Letter for Registration" under "Services" in order to obtain a letter ID.

If your judgment is debt is below $350, or if you have multiple license plates registered outside of New York, you should not enroll using e-Services.
Instead, apply for a standard payment plan by completing the Standard Payment Agreement Enrollment Form for Parking and Camera Judgements. Once you have completed the form, upload it through the DOF Customer Service Portal. Please note that any license plates with violations not included in the payment plan will be subject to enforcement.
