Dog Runs

Dog runs are large, fenced-in areas where dogs can exercise unleashed. Certain park areas allow dogs to be off-leash from the time the park opens until 9 AM and from 9 PM until the park closes. Dogs that are off-leash in these areas must have dog licenses and their owners must carry proof of the dog's rabies vaccination.

Little Island is a 2.4-acre public park in Hudson River Park on the West side of Manhattan. Located in the Hudson River off of the West Side Highway with entrances at West 13th and 14th Streets.

Visitors must refrain from the following activities:

Smoking
Riding or bringing bicycles
Using skateboards, skates, and scooters
Fishing
Playing amplified sound
Solicitation
Commercial activity
