At your visit, you will talk with a licensed health care provider.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Virtual ExpressCare, you must be:

• Pregnant
• 15 years of age or older
• In NYC at the time of the visit
• In NYC when taking abortion medication

You don’t need to show proof of residency or immigration status. Parental consent isn’t required.

Health insurance, including Medicaid, may cover the cost of an abortion. Contact your health insurer to find out what your plan covers.

You may be eligible for New York State Medicaid to cover your abortion procedure if you do not have other coverage. Pregnant New Yorkers can qualify for Medicaid at higher income levels.
