Alternate Side Parking (street cleaning) rules are suspended.

All other parking regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.

All NYC Public Schools are closed.

P311 (Parent Support Hotline) and Family Welcome Centers, including enrollment centers, are also closed.

Parking in School Zones

Parking is allowed in school zones when school is in recess. However, specific schools may be open on holidays, and parking restrictions would remain in effect. You should contact specific schools to verify that they are in recess.

There is no trash, recycling, or compost collection on Monday, October 13.

If Monday is your regular trash, recycling, or compost collection day, place your items at the curb Monday evening for collection beginning Tuesday, October 14. 

Please note that collection delays are common after holidays.

The Staten Island Ferry runs on a normal schedule.

All branches of the City's Public Library systems are closed.
